Kingston Police are continuing to conduct a homicide investigation at a residential property in the 2100 block of McKendry Road. The next of kin has been notified and police can now confirm that the name of the 88-year-old deceased male is Jahzerah BERNDT, who resided alone at the McKendry Road residence. The scene remains secured at this location as the investigation continues and no one has been arrested in relation to the incident.

 

The Kingston Police Major Crime Unit is still appealing to the public for any information related to this incident. Kingston Police are presently conducting a homicide investigation in relation to the sudden death of an 88-year-old male in the 2100 block of McKendry Road, in the City of Kingston.

 

At this point, the scene at this location remains in the possession of Kingston Police. The investigation is ongoing and the Kingston Police Major Crime Unit is appealing to anyone in the public who may information to contact police. Kingston Police is not aware of any ongoing risk to public safety.
