Kingston Police had 117 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on November 6, 2019. Of these, 91 calls occurred in the city central area, 19 in the west end, and 4 in the east end. Some of these included:

  • 1 assault call
  • 3 harassment calls
  • 3 fight/disturbance calls
  • 5 undesirable calls
  • 1 alarm call
  • 1 neighbour dispute call
  • 3 noise complaints
  • 1 Mental Health Act call
  • 2 medical assist calls
  • 10 assist citizen calls
  • 1 break and enter call
  • 8 theft calls
  • 2 shoplifting calls
  • 1 theft of vehicle call
  • 2 mischief calls
  • 1 fraud call
  • 3 motor vehicle collisions
  • 1 parking/vehicle complaint
  • 7 driving complaints
  • 3 suspicious activity calls
  • 1 trespass/prowler call
  • 2 drug calls

 

There were 6 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 3 men and 3 women, between 21 and 49 years of age, for the following: assault peace officer, fraud over $5000, mischief under $5000, two counts theft under $5000, possession under $5000, use credit card obtained by offence, and breach probation.
