Kingston Police had 117 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on May 7, 2019. Of these, 88 calls occurred in the city central area, 25 in the west end, 4 in the east end, and 3 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

  • 3 sexual assaults
  • 5 harassment calls
  • 3 fight/disturbance calls
  • 12 undesirable calls
  • 3 custody dispute calls
  • 1 alarm call
  • 2 neighbour dispute calls
  • 1 noise complaint
  • 1 missing person call
  • 4 medical assist calls
  • 12 assist citizen calls
  • 5 theft calls
  • 3 shoplifting calls
  • 1 mischief call
  • 1 fraud call
  • 3 motor vehicle collisions
  • 3 driving complaints
  • 1 traffic concern
  • 4 suspicious activity calls
  • 2 drug calls

 

There were 4 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 3 men and 1 woman, between 35 and 38 years of age, for the following: four counts of mischief, break and enter, two counts of possession of break in tools, three counts of theft, have face masked to commit offence, breach of peace, and four counts of breach probation. One person was arrested on warrant.
