Kingston Police had 157 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on July 10, 2019. Of these, 105 calls occurred in the city central area, 32 in the west end, 8 in the east end, and 5 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

  • 2 assault calls
  • 4 harassment calls
  • 1 weapons offence call
  • 4 fight/disturbance calls
  • 9 undesirable calls
  • 1 alarm call
  • 1 neighbour dispute call
  • 5 noise complaints
  • 4 missing person calls
  • 4 medical assist calls
  • 14 assist citizen calls
  • 3 break and enter calls
  • 12 theft calls
  • 2 shoplifting calls
  • 2 mischief calls
  • 2 fraud calls
  • 10 motor vehicle collisions
  • 9 driving complaints
  • 1 traffic concern
  • 5 suspicious activity calls
  • 1 panhandling call
  • 1 drug call

 

There were 4 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 3 men and 1 woman, between 33 and 51 years of age, for the following: causing a disturbance, obstruct property under $5000, theft under $5000, possession under $5000 and breach recognizance.
