Kingston Police had 145 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on August 12, 2019. Of these, 106 calls occurred in the city central area, 30 in the west end, 7 in the east end, and 1 north of Highway 401. Some of these included:

  • 1 harassment call
  • 3 fight/disturbance calls
  • 11 undesirable calls
  • 1 customer trouble call
  • 2 alarm calls
  • 2 neighbour dispute calls
  • 4 noise complaints
  • 3 missing person calls
  • 2 Mental Health Act calls
  • 3 medical assist calls
  • 18 assist citizen calls
  • 9 theft calls
  • 1 shoplifting call
  • 2 theft of vehicle calls
  • 2 mischief calls
  • 2 fraud calls
  • 7 motor vehicle collisions
  • 1 impaired driving call
  • 3 driving complaints
  • 2 traffic concerns
  • 4 suspicious activity calls
  • 2 trespass/prowler calls

 

There were 7 individuals arrested within the last 24 hours including 4 men and 3 women, between 18 and 43 years of age, for the following: three counts breach recognizance, and breach probation.
